  • 1 liter of fresh, pure water
  • 2 tablespoons raw fennel seeds (crushed with mortar and pestle)

1.  The Quick Method:

Place the water in a deep pan and bring it to boil. Add the crushed fennel seeds, turn off the heat and cover the pan. Once the water has cooled to room temperature it’s ready to drink.

2. The Overnight Method

Using the same ratio of water to fennel seeds, simply place the water and the fennel seeds in a glass jar, cover, and allow to steep overnight. In the morning your fennel seed water will be ready to drink.

Start by drinking one to two cups of fennel seed water daily, gradually working up to four cups a day.

As with any natural remedies, there may be adverse reactions to fennel seed consumption, so monitor and listen to your body, when including fennel seed water in your weight-loss plan.
