We’ve Found the Best Mid-Priced Juicers from $300 – $500 (& Vetted Them)

With such a wide variety of juicers and prices in the market, how do you know which juicer gives you the best value for money? While there are great juicers at every price point, mid-range juicers give you the best of both worlds. They come with more features without the exorbitant price tag.

We did our research, and we’re ready to share our favorite juicers in the $300 to $500 range. Don’t just take our word for it, though. Our 1 million Facebook followers agree that we know our stuff when it comes to juicing, so let’s get into it.

This single-gear juicer produces high-yield, high-quality juice. Its 2HP motor generates more torque to tackle tough fruits and vegetables and its 80 RPM low speed minimizes heat build-up and oxidization. Slower juicing and reduced oxidation mean your juice retains more essential nutrients.

The main issue people have with this juicer is the screen breaking, but thankfully that’s covered by Omega’s 5-year warranty. This issue aside, the Omega NC900HDC is not only great for making juice but for making nut milk, nut butters, frozen fruit sorbets, pasta, baby food, minced herbs and even ground beans as well.

Bottom line: The Omega NC900HDC is a well-rounded juicer that produces high-quality juice for a reasonable price.

The Omega VSJ843QS gives high-yield results with dry pulp, meaning you get the most out of what you juice. The 43 RPM, patented Slow Squeezing Technology minimizes heat build-up and oxidization, keeping your juice fresh and nutritious. The juicer itself comes with a variety of features, including a no-drip juice tap, automatic pulp ejection, a mixing function, and a 15-year warranty

This quiet, vertical juicer would be at home in any kitchen but might be a little tall if you have low-hanging shelves. The Omega VSJ843QS is capable of making juice, sorbets, smoothies, and nut milk. It can’t do nut butter and can jam up with heavy-duty juicing, but that’s about it.

Bottom line: If you’re looking for a juicer that can grind nuts and beans, go with the horizontal Omega NC900HDC. Otherwise, the Omega VSJ843QS works great for making slow-pressed, nutrient-dense juice.

This horizontal juicer does more than just juice and is capable of making baby food, nut butter, nut milk, pasta, sorbet, minced herbs, and ground beans. The single auger, 80 RPM system has 5 pressure settings, allowing you to customize your unit depending on the task. The 2HP motor produced enough torque to process tough ingredients while the low speed reduces heat build-up and oxidization.

Some customers complain about the small plastic components breaking, although this is covered by Omega’s warranty. Another complaint is the Omega NC800HDS is technically able to make nut milks, but it definitely doesn’t shine in this area. It is much better for processing leafy greens, although it does struggle slightly with soft fruits as well. Whatever you’re making, cleaning the machine is easy with automatic pulp ejection and dishwasher safe components.

Bottom line: For $70 more you can get the Omega NC900HDC, which is a bit more powerful and reliable.

#4 / Hurom Elite Slow Juicer HH-SBB11

When you make a purchase via one of our affiliate links, we may earn a small commission. We buy all the ingredients and juicers for our reviews and recipe posts and rely on this revenue to maintain our website. Thank you for supporting us 🙂

This compact, vertical juicer is easy to use, simple to clean, and makes high-quality, cold-pressed juice. The low-speed auger squeezes out a large amount of juice while making almost no noise. The unit isn’t dishwasher safe, but the quick assembly and automatic inner cleaning brush still make cleaning a fairly simple task

The juice that comes from the Hurom Elite Slow Juicer HH-SBB11 can be on the pulpy side. The unit struggles with carrots and leafy greens especially. Additionally, the narrow feed tube requires that your produce be cut into small pieces before juicing, otherwise the machine is prone to clogging. Hurom says this is a safety feature, however, to prevent fingers from being caught in the juicer.

Bottom line: If pre-chopping and pulp aren’t deal-breakers, this juicer is otherwise easy to use and provides high-quality juice.

When you make a purchase via one of our affiliate links, we may earn a small commission. We buy all the ingredients and juicers for our reviews and recipe posts and rely on this revenue to maintain our website. Thank you for supporting us 🙂

The Champion Juicer G5-PG710 is technically a commercial model, making it a durable option for hardcore home juicers. If you’re a daily juicer, you won’t be disappointed with its high-quality parts that are able to process tough vegetables. Some people even use their models from the ’70s and ’80s!

This juicer can be used for leafy greens and homogenizing, but it does require additional (and somewhat expensive) attachments to be purchased. It’s also worth noting that unlike the other juicers on this list, the Champion Juicer G5-PG710 is not a slow juicer. As a centrifugal juicer, its high RPM of 1725 can degrade the nutrients, taste, and color of your juice. It’s also not dishwasher safe and requires pre-chopping to prevent clogs.

Bottom line: While this juicer is a cult favourite, it’s clunky and has had few updates. That said, if you want speed and power over nutrient density, then this is the juicer for you.

#6 / Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer C7000P

When you make a purchase via one of our affiliate links, we may earn a small commission. We buy all the ingredients and juicers for our reviews and recipe posts and rely on this revenue to maintain our website. Thank you for supporting us 🙂

The Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer C7000P can handle just about anything. Its 3-in-1 multi-function makes it capable of producing juice, smoothies, and sorbets. Plus, it does all 3 quietly and preserves nutrients at 60 RPM. Prep and cleanup are made easy with the wide, 3-inch chute and a rotating cleaning brush.

This machine handles wheatgrass well, but it does struggle with kale and carrots. Some reviewers have also complained about receiving completely defective models that fail to start. While this is covered by Kuving’s 10-year warranty, it’s definitely a concern. That aside, this juicer is easy to use and produces some great juice.

Bottom line: This juicer is one of the most expensive options on our list, and there are cheaper models (like the Omega NC900HDC) that have many of the same capabilities. If you prefer a vertical juicer, however, then we recommend the Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer C7000P.
