At 80 RPM, this low-speed, masticating juicer is able to produce juice with high yields and little to no froth. The slow juicing method also helps to preserve nutrients and the freshness of your juice.

While it’s not the most powerful juicer in the world, this machine can still handle tricky produce like wheatgrass. It also has 3 adjustable settings so you can customize the intensity based on what you’re juicing. Some reviewers say the Omega Cube300S is a little on the louder side compared to other slow juicers, but you’ll still find this juicer to be much quieter than others on this list that run at a higher RPM.

Rather than being made from plastic, the unit is made from heavy grade polymer that can handle tough veggies like carrots and beets, although it doesn’t excel with leafy greens. This juicer also doesn’t give the highest yield and produces semi-dry pulp. Compared to the size and price of many juicers that do produce dry pulp, however, the Breville JE98XL still provides good value. 

Bottom line: Compared to the cheaper juicers on this list, you’ll find the Breville JE98XL to be a bit quieter and a bit more powerful.

This low-speed, 80 RPM juicer squeezes your produce instead of grinding it. This method means your juice maintains more nutrients and stays fresh longer. Because it’s a slow juicer, it comes with the added benefit of quiet operation. It’s also easy to clean with automatic pulp ejection. 

The juice produced by this juicer is on the pulpier side. It doesn’t have the same juicing abilities as other, larger juicers and doesn’t handle tough vegetables like celery very well. Where this juicer excels is in ease of use. It’s easy to assemble and clean, and the components are even dishwasher safe.

Even as the cheapest option on our list, this compact juicer doesn’t disappoint. It doesn’t skimp on user-friendly features, either. The unit is easy to assemble and the removable components are dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. It’s not a slow juicer, however, so your juice won’t maintain as many nutrients and won’t stay fresh as long.

The juice can also be a bit on the foamy side, but some will take those trade-offs for a quicker juicer. It will definitely be quicker compared to a slow juicer, but that comes with being noisier too. Many reviewers complain about how noisy this juicer is and some even say it vibrates so much while juicing it needs to be held down. 

Bottom line: It’s not a premium juicer, but for the price, it’s great for people looking to try juicing or occasionally make some basic recipes.

#5 / Mueller Austria Juicer Ultra

The Mueller Austria Juicer Ultra is priced just above the Hamilton Beach 67801 and while it does have some of the same pitfalls, it has a lot of great features as well. This juicer comes with 2 speeds to handle various types of produce. Depending on what you’re juicing, this unit can go between 12,000 and 18,000 RPM.

Given the high RPM, the Mueller Austria Juicer Ultra is definitely not a slow juicer. The juice it makes is on the pulpy side and it won’t be as nutrient-dense compared to a juicer that works at a slower RPM. It will also be much louder, an issue many reviewers noted. Some reviews complained of faulty units as well, but Mueller Austria does offer a 2-year warranty and great customer service. 

Bottom line: It’s a great starter juicer for people who aren’t ready to make the jump to an expensive juicer or for those who only juice occasionally.
