Ginger Turmeric Tea for Anti-Aging, Anti-Cancer and Anti-Inflammatory



Use a masticating juicer to extract this juice:

  • 1 tsp ginger root juice (or use 1/4 tsp ginger powder)
  • 1 tsp turmeric juice (or use 1/4 tsp turmeric powder)
  • 1/2 a lemon (without peel)
  • 1-2 tbsp raw honey or to taste
  • A pinch of cinnamon powder
  • Mix all the above in ~500ml (half quart)  hot water and sip warm.

      Natural foods with medicinal properties such as ginger or turmeric are great for regulating blood pressure – to lower high blood pressure, or to increase low blood pressure, bringing both to a healthy pressure that is right for the individual. Hope this answers your question!

    On your note you say not to take this tea if we take medication. Is it any type of medication or a specific one in particular?

      Hi Ana, there are so many drugs that may interact with turmeric that I’d say it’s best to avoid taking turmeric if you’re on medication. The culprit is not turmeric but the drugs/medication that are foreign in our body. Turmeric is just doing its job of healing our cells and having to “fight off” the medication, that may cause a reaction.

    Hi, my mom has a problem in her blood pressure. She’s talking blood pressure medicine but everyday she suffers. It goes high. Should I give her ginger and turmeric tea every morning? Would that help her?

    I do a variation of this every morning, but I include black pepper to make the turmeric much more bioavailable (and I also add a little sea salt, cayenne, and coconut milk). Yum!
