- 1 carrot
- 1 orange (without peel)
- 3 small or 2 big green apples
- 1/2 a medium-sized beetroot
- 1/4 slice of lemon with peel
- 1-inch ginger (I prefer to use young ginger)
Cut up the produce to sizes that fit your juicer chute, and juice.
I use my Alpha Juicer to make this juice. The auger/gear is white so to prevent pigmentation stain, I suggest putting in the carrot and beetroot during the first half of juicing, alternating with the oranges in order to get the most juice out of it. After the carrot, beetroot and oranges, put in the ginger and lemon (with peel) followed by the green apples to “self-clean” the white auger.

Makes about 750 ml worth of delicious juice. This combination is so refreshing. Love it!
As carrot and green apples also make up the main ingredients of this recipe, the juice is very cleansing, has some laxative effect which encourages bowel movements.
Beetroot has too many healing virtues to mention here. For a beginner, start with only half a medium-sized beetroot once a week, slowly increasing the amount. Not to be taken more than twice a week.
This juice is potent and detoxifying, so it may cause dizziness to some people. When this happens, drink LOTS of water.
Juicer used to make this juice: Alpha Juicer (available in Malaysia).
