BITTER taste is a powerful DETOXIFYING agent, and has antibiotic, anti-parasitic, and antiseptic qualities.

Bitter gourd juice is highly beneficial for treating blood disorders due to its blood-cleansing effect. When blood is “cleaned up”, circulation improves, thus reduces many ailments.

Some of the health benefits of including bitter gourd in your regular diet, or in your juice:

  • Lowers blood sugar levels in diabetics
  • Improves energy and stamina levels
  • Improves/stabilizes sleep quality
  • Improves eye sight
  • Relieves gout or arthritis pain
  • Improves skin condition
  • Promotes health of respiratory system
  • Improves liver health – toxemia, jaundice, hangover

You can find/buy bitter gourd (or bitter melon) from your local Asian grocery stores.

  1. Hi Sara,
I am one of your fans. Thank you very much for all precious information. Really help all people. Every time I come across any health condition cases with my friends, I always check your website first. One case I found of my friend is Lymphoma. Could I recommend them with this juicing recipe? or do you have any recipe for Lymphoma?
Regards and thank you very much.
