Avoid These Foods At All Costs! These Brain Toxins Are Eating Away Your Brain!

Last updated on

Alzheimer’s is becoming a major health concern, as the percentage of elderly adults that develop this disease is increasing. There is a lot that doctors understand about Alzheimer’s, but there is also a lot that they still do not know. One thing that doctors can agree on is that Alzheimer’s is directly linked to the condition of your brain.

The medical community believes that about half of all Alzheimer’s cases are related to diet and lifestyle choices. Some of the leading causes related to Alzheimer’s include depression, smoking, obesity, hypertension, and diabetes.

These few food groups are highly toxic to the brain. They eat away at your brain and cause brain damage. Please avoid them at all costs!

Top 4 Foods That Cause Alzheimer’s Disease And Brain Fog

1. White Foods

foods that cause alzheimer's

White foods include white bread, white flour, white rice, pasta, sugar, artificial sweetener and MSG. These “foods” can cause a spike in your blood pressure and cause inflammation. This increases your chances of developing diabetes, which may in turn increase your chances of developing Alzheimer’s disease.

processed meat2. Processed Foods and Meats

Processed foods are likely to contain higher amounts of unhealthy fats, artificial food additives, salt and sugar.

These ingredients stunt proper brain function and result in a higher likelihood of developing Alzheimer’s.

Do cut back on American cheese and other processed cheeses. Avoid mozzarella sticks, sausages, deli meats, cured and processed meats.

canned food3. Foods Containing Diacetyl or Nitrate

Diacetyl is a food flavoring that is added to a wide variety of foods such as butter, cheese, milk, flour mixes, cookies, crackers, candy, popcorn.

Nitrates are usually added to processed and cured meat to function as preservatives to prevent the growth of bacteria. These could retard proper brain function and have an impact on your metabolism.

By limiting your consumption of these foods, you can prevent the early development of Alzheimer’s.

Gradually begin to cut back on canned and packaged foods that have long expiry dates. Avoid margarine, microwaved popcorn, and beer.

4. Certain Medications

If you take any drug that starts with “anti” such as antihistamines, antidepressants, antipsychotics, antibiotics, antispasmodics, or antihypertensives, it’s likely that it will affect your acetylcholine levels.

Acetylcholine is the primary neurotransmitter involved with memory and learning. Low acetycholine can lead to symptoms that resemble dementia including mental confusion, delirium, blurred vision, memory loss, and hallucinations.
