Fennel is one of the few vegetables that have high content of essential oils and folate. It is also loaded with anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties, making it a very useful remedy for many ailments in the digestive system like colic, constipation, diarrhea, excessive flatulence and yeast infection.
Here’s a good recipe using Fennel which combine well:
- 5 carrots
- 2 green apples
- ½ fennel bulb
- 6 celery stick
- ½ lemon (without peel)
- 1-inch piece of ginger root
Wash clean and cut all the above ingredients, and put them through your juicer.
