Understanding High Blood Pressure

High blood pressure (hypertension) is a warning of more serious cardiovascular problems. Carrot has high anti-oxidant values.  Drink carrot juice with chlorophyll in all green vegetables for their remarkable ability in cleaning out blood impurities. Sodium chloride (table salt) increases blood pressure but the natural sodium in celery does not increase but can decrease blood pressure. Drink celery juice alone or mix it with carrot or beet root juice. Beet root juice also helps to lower and normalize blood pressure.

Capsicum is very high in vitamin C, another form of anti-oxidant.  Include one capsicum a day in your juice recipe.  Garlic, cilantro and leeks are not very palatable foods but have anti-coagulant virtues which also help to lower blood pressure.
