Carrot, Green Apples, Chayote and Celery (Anti-Inflammatory)




  • 2 carrots
  • 2 green apples
  • 1/2 chayotte – cut lengthwise
  • 1 rib of celery (optional)


This is a simple juice recipe that includes chayote. Chayote has a “raw” taste so would mix well with carrots, apples and celery which lend it a nice taste.

Chayote has some interesting names, also known as: sayote, tayota, choko, chocho, chow-chow, christophene, mirliton.

This vegetable pear-like fruit is an excellent source of amino acids and vitamin C. It is diuretic, protects the cardiovascular and has high anti-inflammatory properties.

When mixed with celery, chayote does a great job for reversing arteriosclerosis, hypertension and to dissolve kidney stones.




This recipe makes about 800 ml worth of juice.
