7 Cleansing Detox Drinks For Every Day Of The Week

When heat waves strike in the summer, keeping hydrated and healthy is a must. Overeating and consumption of particularly fatty meals may make you feel sluggish.

Regularly overeating does not allow your digestion to rest and may lead to fatigue and a constant feeling of being tired.

How about giving your body a rest by drinking a glass (or two) of freshly extracted juice in place of a meal? One juice recipe for one day of the week. Do a 7-day partial detox and feel so much better at the end of it!

7 Cleansing Detox Drinks

1. Spicy Tropical Pineapple Juice

This vitamin C-rich drink has a little kick to it to keep it fresh! A taste of jalapeño will keep you on your toes, and give you the cancer fighting, energy increasing, and weight loss inducing benefits that everyone needs.

Ingredients:

  • 1 quarter fresh pineapple
  • 1 grapefruit
  • 1 orange
  • ½ bunch of cilantro
  • ½ small jalapeño, seeded

2. Tropical Green Coconut Smoothie

This amazing juice has all the components of a typical green juice like spinach and kale, but with a taste of the tropics thrown in for flavor. Coconuts are packed with potassium and electrolytes, and make this juice the perfect post-workout drink.

Ingredients:

  • Coconut water from 1 young Thai coconut
  • A handful of green kale
  • A handful of spinach
  • 1 banana

Instructions:

Crack open coconut (using a cleaver and with extreme care) and pour the coconut water into a blender. Scoop out the coconut meat with a spoon and add to blender. Add kale, spinach and banana. Blend on high for 30 seconds. Pour juice back into the coconut and serve with a straw.

3. Sweet Melon Blossom

This juice combo is a nutrient powerhouse, providing all the vitamins and minerals is a delicious hydrating drink.

It is also rich in antioxidants that is helpful for anti-aging and prevents many ailments.

Ingredients:

  • ½ small honeydew or rock melon
  • 2 cups of grapes
  • ½ lemon
  • 1-2 inch fresh ginger root
  • A handful of basil leaves

4. Tropical Paradise Smoothie

This juice is packed with all the best fresh ingredients that you expect to find while on a tropical vacation. Vitamin C from the pineapple, digestion air from the ginger and electrolytes from the coconut make this a homerun health drink.

Ingredients:

  • ½ medium ripe papaya, peeled, seeded, and sliced
  • ½ small pineapple, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger root, peeled
  • 2 cup fresh young coconut water

Instructions:

Crack open coconut (using a cleaver and with extreme care) and pour 2 cups of the fresh coconut water into a blender. Scoop out the coconut meat with a spoon and add to blender. Add your cubed papaya, pineapple and ginger root. Blend on high for 30-45 seconds. Serve chilled. Enjoy!

5. Wild Spiced Berry Smoothie

Fresh berries give this healthy drink an amazing taste that doesn’t need any artificial sweeteners!

Put all the ingredients into a blender and blend to a smooth texture.

Serve chilled!

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups of strawberries, leaves and all
  • 2 cups of raspberries
  • 1 small chili with seeds and placental skin removed (optional)
  • 1 cup mint leaves or more to taste
  • Juice from ½ lime

6. Beet Apple And Blackberry Juice

The only thing better then the beautiful color of beetroot is the amazing health benefits that it contains!

Beetroot juice is a powerful cleanser of the blood and helps lower blood pressure. Highly nutritious, this juice combo is rich with folate, manganese potassium, iron and Vitamin C!

Ingredients:

  • 3 medium-sized beetroots
  • 1 small cucumber
  • A handful of mint leaves
  • ½ inch fresh ginger root

7. Ultimate Green Juice

Celery is loaded with potassium, folic acid, magnesium, calcium, iron, phosphorus and essential amino acids, which puts a spurt of energy into your day.

Ingredients:

  • 6-8 ribs of celery
  • 4-5 big kale leaves
  • 2 green apples
  • A big handful of cilantro
  • ½ lemon
  • 1 inch of fresh ginger
